Bamboo/Paulownia Core — Power and dynamism

Made from 5mm wide wood strips along its entire length, this alternating Bamboo/Paulownia core offers superior construction quality and optimal structural cohesion.

The alternating wood species allows for a combination of the strength and responsiveness of bamboo with the lightness of paulownia—an ideal duo for skis with excellent performance and crisp energy return. This core requires the use of ABS sidewalls or a rot-resistant hardwood for an optimal finish.

Combined with lighter, more shock-absorbing paulownia, the material achieves a remarkable balance between power and skiing comfort.

This core is particularly recommended for the manufacture of piste or freeride skis requiring responsiveness and good grip at high speed.
