DIY Bamboo Splitboard Kit (2 parts) — Shape your own splitboard

Do you dream of a 2-piece splitboard with a shape and features unavailable on the market? This kit contains everything you need to make it yourself, at a lower cost, with materials selected and tested by Clone IND for years.

You don't need to be a composites expert — good tools, a dedicated well-ventilated space and patience are all you need to become an amateur shaper.

With bamboo, there are no additional constraints: naturally rot-proof, it does not require the addition of ABS edges, which greatly simplifies manufacturing.

Kit contents

Structure

• Bamboo snowboard core — 1800 x 315 x 15 mm
• 4 meters of UD fiberglass
• 4 meters of biaxial fiberglass
• 2 meters of chestnut veneer (natural topsheet finish)

Sole — your choice

• Translucent IS 4400 — width 320 mm
• Black IS 4400 — width 330 mm
• Black IS 7500 — width 340 mm ⭐ Better gliding quality

Resin & reinforcement

• 750 g of translucent epoxy resin with high static and dynamic strength
• 225 g of hardener
• 8 meters of black anti-vibration rubber

Hardware

• 4 sandblasted steel squares — 190 cm
• 34 snowboard inserts 7.5 mm

Vacuum sealing kit — optional

• Vacuum tarpaulin 2m x 1m
• Drainage felt 2m x 0.75m
• Tear-off fabric 2m x 0.8m
• Sealant — 13 m
